| What
is the difference between Full Release and Preview
Release? |
top |
The Full Release
contains all features found on the actual Cisco
exams including detailed explanations on each
answer. The Preview Release does not have detailed
explanations but contains references to Cisco
vendor approved study guides.
The Preview Release cost less than the Full
Release and entitles the customers to obtain
a free update to the Full Release. |

| What
is the difference between SavvyeNGine Router/Switch
Simulator than the one in the actual exam? |
top |
- The router and switch simulator that come
with SavvyeNGine has been specifically designed
to help students to experience some hands-on
with Cisco routers/switches and to help prepare
for the actual Cisco certification exams.
- However, it does not support the open-ended
experience that is used in Cisco certification
exams, i.e. it does not support partial commands
like 'sh run' or 'conf t' etc and it displays
the steps/instructions required to complete
a task. More features will be added in the
next release of SavvyeNGine.
- It is not a real Cisco router and switch.
You can not connect it to your network and
hope it will forward traffic. It is just a
study tool.

| Do
you offer exam pass guarantee? |
top |
Please
note here that unlike some other test simulator
vendors, we do not offer pass guarantee. What???
That's probably what you are thinking now. What
we mean here is that we do not guarantee anybody
that merely use SavvyeNGine as their only study
tool will pass any of the tested exams just
like that. Why not? Well, SavvyeNGine is not
a braindump. SavvyeNGine is not a cheat sheet.
Why not? Because there is no such values on
relying on these methods to a achieve a certification
status. Test vendors regularly update their
exam questions that make these methods obsolete
very quickly. They always try to increase the
level of difficulty of the exams. Also, a person
obtaining a certification solely from these
methods will have little values when applying
for a real-world position. Experience and thorough
understanding of the subject have always been
and will still be a primary consideration in
hiring employees.
However, we can
certainly guarantee that by combining with other
correct study tools, SavvyeNGine will enhance
and reinforce the comprehension of the topics
being tested and therefore will greatly increase
your chance of success. Actually, this is the
only guarantee you need from us because we believe
that once you have reviewed our test modules
thoroughly, you will have good self-esteem to
sit and pass the exam by yourself.
Instead of offering
a merely pass guarantee, we offer a limited
non-obligatory email consultation to address
your study problems or to answer some questions
about our test modules. Please note that due
to excessive emails we may receive, you may
experience delay in our reply. Your patience
is much appreciated. |

| I
don't have enough experience but should I get
certified first and apply for a job? |
top |
Well,
for new comers in the data networking world,
experience-qualification-job seems like chicken-and-egg.
Assume you've got the qualification. You then
apply for a job but, hey, they also ask you
for the experience. Then, you begin to wonder
how to get a job to obtain the experience needed
to apply for that job! How is that possible?
There is no an
easy answer to this question. One practical
solution we can suggest is to ask anybody you
know who work in the same area/roles similar
to the one you are applying for. Ask them how
they manage to get to their current positions.
Slowly trace backs their employment history.
Many times, you will find that they start with
a more basic level then climbed up step by step
to their current roles.
Getting some
certification at the basic or medium level will
certainly improve your chance to get a job.
Please be aware however that you do need to
get some hands-on on what you say you are certified
for. |

| What
is a paper certification? |
top |
| A paper certification
means any persons that manage to get certified
but have no ideas of what they are talking about.
When they are asked to do the job they just sit
there scratching their head. Does this sound familiar?
Have you heard this terms too often? You are right
indeed. There are many peoples with big incentive
in their mind think to get as many as certification
they can without actually understanding the topics
being tested or ever have played around with them.
They just read from books, sit the exams, and
manage to pass the exam somehow. This does not
mean tough that you are not allowed to take any
exams that you are not fully familiar with now.
This mean you should always make sure that you
indeed understand and have the capability of doing
whatever stated in the certification/exam by doing
enough hands-on practice and related on-the-job
experience. |
